In 2007, VANGEL was selected as the marketing firm responsible for the identity and public awareness components of the Federal Highway Administration’s Nonmotorized Transportation Pilot Program in Columbia, Missouri.
The program goal: to increase active transportation and achieve mode shift.
Our strategy: don’t preach to the choir.
Instead, we engage, motivate and educate the broadest audience possible—from the recreational bike rider to the errand-running mom in the minivan to the guy who loves his SUV. We encourage
everyone to give walking and biking a try.
